Anti-Antisocial
Forces Policy
Article 1Purpose
This policy sets forth measures regarding response procedures, organizational structures, and the elimination of transactions that encourage activities of groups or individuals seeking economic gain through violence, force, or fraudulent methods (hereinafter referred to as "Antisocial Forces")—including organized crime groups, group members, former members within five years of departure, associate members, affiliated companies, corporate racketeers, social or political movement masqueraders, and specialized crime groups—with the aim of completely severing relations with Antisocial Forces and preventing damages.
Article 2Principle of Severing Relations
The Company shall maintain a resolute stance against Antisocial Forces, sever all relations with them, and firmly reject any unwarranted demands.
Article 3Basic Policy
The Company establishes the following basic policies regarding responses to Antisocial Forces:
- 1. Respond as an organization against Antisocial Forces.
- 2. Collaborate with external specialized organizations to handle Antisocial Forces.
- 3. Sever all relationships, including business transactions, with Antisocial Forces.
- 4. Take legal action from both civil and criminal standpoints in emergencies.
- 5. Strictly prohibit any behind-the-scenes deals or financial provision with Antisocial Forces.
The Company shall ensure these basic policies are thoroughly communicated internally.
Article 4Principle of Organizational Response
- 1. If contacted by anyone suspected of belonging to Antisocial Forces, the Company shall seek cooperation from external experts such as the police, center for removal of organized crime, and legal counsel, and respond as an organization.
- 2. In the event of a dispute with Antisocial Forces, the Company shall promptly contact or consult lawyers, police, and other relevant authorities to endeavor to prevent damages caused by Antisocial Forces.
Article 5Department in Charge and Responsible Executive
The Compliance Office shall serve as the department in charge of responding to Antisocial Forces, and the Head of the Compliance Office shall serve as the responsible manager.
